What other benefits do Omega-3 supplements have?

Omega-3 supplements are important to increase the Omega-3 content in your diet and to achieve balance between pro- and anti-inflammatory components in your body.
In addition, Omega-3 is important for natural and healthy development and growth. Growing scientific evidence shows that Omega-3 EPA and DHA are important for our cardiovascular health, cognitive performance, mood and behavior, and last but not least fetus development.

According to REGULATION (EC) No 1924/2006 & REGULATION (EU) No 432/2012:
So far, EPA and DHA have 5 EU health claims:
- EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart.
- DHA contribute to the maintenance of normal vision.
- DHA contribute to normal brain function.
- DHA and EPA (2 g daily) contribute to the maintenance of normal blood triglyceride concentrations (max 5 g EPA+DHA).
- DHA and EPA (3 g daily) contribute to the maintenance of normal blood pressure (max 5 g EPA+DHA).
