Why is my Customer a Retail Customer?

Premier Customers order and pay for a start kit with a binding monthly subscription. They get discounted prices and other offers. All other Customers are Retail Customers without bounding subscriptions and they pay retail prices.
When your Retail Customer purchases a Premier Kit, your Customer will turn into a Premier Customer.
A Customer who ordered a Premier Kit and has not yet paid for it is still a Retail Customer until their payment is received.
