Are the olives grown without any chemicals and pesticides?

Olives are quite resistant to pests, so olive producers do not use pesticides, unless they are forced to do so to avoid losses due to control plaques and diseases of olives. The olive oil is analyzed for pesticides. If the olive oil is used for human consumption, the residues of pesticides must be below limit values set by EU regulations. The extra virgin olive oil used in Balance products are below those limit values.
